Adidas Sabalo x Hardies Shoes

The newest silhouette by Adidas has collaborated with Tyshawn Jones’ brand to create the Adidas Sabalo x Hardies Shoes. The textural white leather upper runs over the top of a textile mesh inner to create a snug sock-like fit and the mesh is visible on the heel. The body is kept super clean with pops of purple on the embroidered trefoil on the side panel, a printed tongue label as well as a woven label. The midsole complements the clean white of the shoe, with an additional black and purple trim running up to the curved mudguard and a gum outsole.

Working closely alongside the skate team, the adidas designers have ensured that their most contemporary silhouette didn’t fail on functionality. The Sabalo features a traditionally vulcanised sole for unrivalled boardfeel with added flexibility. The adiPrene sockliner has been updated to offer greater impact cushioning, with a geoflex outsole that gives multi-directional grip added to by the herringbone around the toe box.

Founded by members of adidas’ pro team; Tyshawn Jones and Na-Kel Smith, Hardies Hardware are a fresh addition to the US skatewear scene. Having collaborated with adidas back in 2017, this new collection looks just as promising with a consistent theme of purple and black running throughout.
